  3.     I guess you've all heard ³Nirvana²'s 'Smells Like Teen Spirit'
  4. from MTV, but have you heard the whole album ?
  5.     I saw SLTS played on MTV and loved the song.
  6. I bought the CD and loved the album. But it wasn't love at the first sight.
  7. SLTS is much different from the other
  8. songs on ³Nevermind². Much thrashier and faster.. I usually listen to
  9. speed/thrash metal bands and SLTS is quite close to thrash metal and
  10. that's why I liked it so much and the other sounded quite lame. But as I
  11. kept listening to the album, the other songs got better and better all
  12. the time and now I like almost all the tunes on the CD more than the
  13. 'thrashsong', SLTS.
  14.     Well, let's say a few words about the tunes on the CD. First,
  15. there is 'Smells Like Teen Spirit'. It is, as I said, quite thrashy and
  16. hard, but due to MTV, everyone seems to hate it nowadays. MTV killed the
  17. song by playing it all the time. The second song, '³In Bloom²', is the
  18. best tune on the album. It's slow & smooth, everything that thrash
  19. isn't, and has one of the weirdest lyrics I've ever seen (well, every
  20. Nirvana-song has weird lyrics as you can see if you read the next
  21. article). There are a few other songs worth of mentioning. 'Lithium'
  22. sounds quite like 'In Bloom'.. It's a good one, too. 'Territorial
  23. Pissings' is the most aggressive tune on the CD. It's quite shitty, not
  24. worth of listening, I'd say..
  25.     Many have asked about the extra-track, that some CD's have and
  26. some don't. It is about ten minutes after 'Something in the Way' and
  27. is really horrible. Sounds like hard/noisecore to me. I think it's
  28. called 'Endless, nameless', but I'm not sure about it. Anyway, if you
  29. don't have it, you're not missing anything.
  30.     Something about the band members.. ³Kurt Cobain², the vocalist, is
  31. amazing. He has so fucking cool way to sing, that I almost come when I
  32. hear him singing (ehh...). He sounds like he had had some hash hash
  33. before he started recording the whole shit. KEWl.. That doesn't change
  34. the fact that he is one of the worst guitarists around.. They really
  35. should get a new guitarist to the band. Who's next.. Oh, the bassplayer,
  36. ³Chris Novoselic²... He's just an ordinary bassplayer, nothing special. But
  37. the drummer IS something special. I just love the way ³David Grohl² plays his
  38. drums. Close to perfection.
  39.     I could say this is the best album released in 1991. If you
  40. don't have it - get it now!
